One of our instructors participated in The PAN AMERICAN Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Open BJJ Tournament. The event was held at the Event Center at the University of California Irvine from March 29th, 2012 to April 01, 2012. GrandMaster Steven Page placed second in the 50 and over division. Not bad for a 54 year old man who had a major hip replacement on Dec. 3rd., 2010. |

We hope you enjoy our website. Please stop by and visit us if you are in the area.
This site is designed to give you information about our style of Martial Arts.
Enrolling in Hapkido can help your child be the best they can in school, home and in the community. To instill the principles of honor, the value of hard work, the reward of determination, as well as leadership and life skills.
Students who attend Harrison Hapkido Mission Systems are a step up on others because we teach them important life skills and how to develop them to their fullest! The traits they learn will be applicable for the rest of their lives. We teach them how to have a positive attitude, to be self motivated, to set and attain goals, and to learn how to concentrate and focus. This is no easy task as this specialized type of education is not taught in our schools. It is not taught on our football, baseball or soccer fields either. Unfortunately it's not even being taught in our community organizations or religious groups. These life skills, if taught to children at a young age, can have a tremendous impact on the outcome of their lives and how successful they become. |
